The saying goes, write a great book and the world beats a path to your door. I'd say J.K. Rowling would agree with that.
The Doctor, The Plutocrat, and The Mendacious Minister is flying off the shelf.
Seems now, that the BBC has discovered "Doc" and an interview is forthcoming.
Still time to order and have it for Christmas in the States. http://www.cactusrainpublishing.com/the_doctor.html

I've just finished the book - and I really did enjoy it. Well written, easy to read, nice language and a good plot (no spoilers from me!)
ReplyDeleteIt does give you an insight into post-war Britain from a different perspective to that which is usual I would say - and an interesting use of consequence as a plot thickener - the flour in the roux, as it were.
I can recommend the book as an interesting and entertaining read, and would like to congratulate Glyn on this book. I like the characters and the setting and I think UK and non-UK readers alike will swiftly understand and associate with the characters.
Congratulations to Glyn!
ReplyDeleteThe book is a great read.
Carrie and Glynis, thank you both. I agree! Glyn has done a fantastic piece of writing.
